With over a decade of experience in mental and emotional well-being, Michelle Bacso is known for her grounded, empowering, and refreshingly real approach to therapy. She blends warmth with honesty — offering clients a brave and supportive space to grow, heal, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Michelle helps clients move beyond survival mode and into a life that feels calm, fulfilling, and authentic.

Whether you’re a mom feeling stretched thin, a young man battling self-doubt, or a couple wanting a relationship that feels good again, Michelle brings practical tools and compassionate insight to help you create lasting change.

Her sessions are customized to each client, often focusing on: - Building effective communication and emotional connection - Releasing internal conflict and unhelpful patterns - Finding freedom from stress, anxiety, and overwhelm - Cultivating ease, vitality, and confidence

Focus Areas: Michelle’s primary passion is empowering women through every stage of life. She has specialized training and experience supporting women in their perinatal and maternal journey — from fertility and postpartum to the evolving seasons of motherhood.

Michelle also works extensively with couples as well as individuals of all genders seeking support in areas such as trauma, stress, anxiety, or depression.

Child & Adolescent Therapy: Michelle offers play therapy to help children process difficult emotions and life transitions in a developmentally appropriate way. She also integrates Theraplay-informed sessions, which use the parent–child relationship and other family dynamics to help children and adolescents feel more secure in their relationships and more confident within themselves. This approach can be particularly healing for children navigating emotional regulation challenges, divorce, foster or adoptive transitions, loss, or experiences of parental postpartum depression.

When working with older children and teens, Michelle blends activities with talk therapy to create a more relaxed, engaging, and pressure-free experience that promotes trust and growth.

Michelle is deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for clients of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, and family structures. Her clients describe leaving sessions feeling seen, stronger, and more equipped — not just to cope, but to truly thrive.
